Specialized Victim Assistance Program
Abuse / Neglect, Child Services, Victim Services, and Youth Services
Provided by Chilliwack Community Services
Provides information, referral and court accompaniment for victims of domestic violence, date rape, spousal assault, elder abuse, and sexual assault.
Provides services to victims of power-based crimes, specifically:
- victims of family violence
- sexual violence
- criminal harassment
- child abuse
- child witnesses of family or sexual violence
Services include:
- emotional support
- practical assistance
- justice system information
- court accompaniment
- safety planning
- referrals to counselling and community supports
Services are free of charge and are voluntary. Clients may be male or female, and adult, youth or child
